Sydney Kings have their own version of Bogut

If you look closely at Julian Khazzouh, you can see a lot of similarities between him and another great Australian centre.

If you are familiar with the NBA, there is a massive thing taking place.

Big Aussies (and even little ones) are making a wave in the pinnacle of basketball – the NBA.

But just as good is something closer to the land of OZ and its happening right here in Sydney!

Big Aussies making a wave in the NBL - the biggest winners right now is the Fantasy League’s NBL Dream Team players, but I also think this is going to turn the Kings fortune around.

The coming out party of Julian Khazzouh or as I like to call him JK6!

Should I start with the hair or the number or the stats?

Lets go with the stats!

Bogut v Khazzouh

Points 13.3 v 17.1

Rebounds 11.7 v 10.4 (L)

Blocks 2.8 (L) v 1.9

Hair Shaggy v Shaggy

Number 6 v 6

(L) = Leads League

Andrew leads the league in blocks, Julian leads in rebounds, but each dominate when not sitting at the top - example Julian is 3rd in blocks and Andrew is 5th in rebounds.

Are you starting to see the similarities?

Imagine our King Khazzouh backs up Boges in London 2012!

You know what..? Madgen could be there!!!

I’m sure I will bring up the comparisons between Madge & Gibbo or Martin – they all seem to be the same yet Madge can shoot! But that’s for another blog!

Each week when the loyal Kings fan has to tell their friends and family they “lost again” - there is a side that I’m sure most of you feel – wow we got a ball player!

And one that has every right to claim a MVP! **3 Weekly Awards so Far**

HELL if the Kings had been competing in the 4 then I would go out and say “MVP KHAZZOUH!”

I bet no one saw this coming!

All I can say is watch JK6 carefully and think to yourself “what would it be like if Bogut played 1-on-1 pick-up with Khazzouh?”

I wonder what the score would be!
